Scrolling background

Hi all,
I’m trying to make a scrolling background, so throughout the day it will show a different section of the image and scroll back to beginning in the morning. I don’t know if it is possible or been done before if it is but all help and ideas are greatly appreciated.
p.s I’m quite new to this and don’t know much about coding so I would appreciate a explanation of it or it being put in layman’s terms.

You seem to need a time bound movement, such as the movement of the sun or moon, and with them the background can also move?
