Twenty-four Hourglass

I’ve had this idea for a while - not sure if it’s been done before. At some point I may do a 12 hour and have it actually rotate at 12 noon and midnight.

While I’m thinking of it: What causes the weird dropping out of certain blocking layers when previewing on the app (phone only) ? I’ll send a screenshot if you don’t know what I mean.

Looks great @thomasfmal! Yeah the phone preview is often messed up. It’s a known issue. :+1::+1:

I think @russellcresser had done some nice hourglass face, but for minute base if I remember right.

Well done. Sadly these faces are not so popular. All I will say is try get a little sand pour in there.

@russellcresser There is sand pour in there, lol
It’s a working hourglass with flowing sand.
I don’t really care about the popularity I just wanted to do it.

Yeah I agree . I do faces for myself and share them because I am pleased with them . That would presume I had done one Face . Ha Ha .
I am so very sorry I could not see the pour .
Please excuse me excuse me I made a Test for you to look at so I will post it any way.

I know you did not ask for Help or expect us to want to Change your work . That is a little of the nature of this space . If you feel it is right for you Open up Inspection on your Links so we can steal your code.

That’s really odd. It works on computer AND my watch! I’m not at home now will send screen shots later.

This is a screen shot off my watch .
I will post a review as well but this is more appropriate here .
Sorry but the Pour is missing .

So I see you pour In the Preview on the app but oh what a mess. Please let us inspect that face. The code just needs some tweeks to make it more robust. Usually a bunch of () . Nothing to be done about the progress stuff. But. Drawing a Mask as one image can help.
I hope you did not take me the wrong way. Great work. People do not realise how much it takes to do something Different.

I will turn on inspection when I get home, but it works perfectly on my end. Tested several times with time machine over 24 hours…

Which watch do you use ? Just a note from me. Time a bit bigger. I am not that Intrested in a forcast of today’s weather. Although having said that Temperature is Intresting.

Here is a shot on my wrist.

Looks pretty cool, maybe do a Mark 2 version with a 3D Hour Glass with nice shadows and glints to it

@russellcresser It doesn’t show the sand in the creator or preview- you have to sync it to your phone to see it, like a lot of animations. Please sync it and LMK.
I actually have another version with no weather and stacked time and date which was my original version, but decided to release this copy 1st. I’ll release the original with larger time and date.

Ya I was thinking of doing a 12 hour version with a “photoshop hourglass” where I’d have the whole thing rotate at 12 noon and at midnight.
Does it work on your watch?

UPDATE - I synced it on my Active 2 and NO sand. Sand on my Watch 4 classic and no sand on Active 2 - go figure

Anyone have any thoughts on why the sand animation doesn’t work on Tizen ?

Did you see the Screenshot from my watch and the shot of my watch as a review to your Publication . Well done for switching on inspection . All these different watches ( OS ) see syntax differently . I will have play and post my results here . Or DM what ever you preferer.

@thomasfmal I do not see Inspection on for the Link at the Head of this Topic . I suppose it is the one you published with an Identical title . I will try that .
