I have been have little negative on the facer forums but we can’t give up.
We have to assume the only updates to live are from a bunch of people we don’t know that think better and the abandonment of the community by @Facer_Official is to improve the facer community to look for someone better.
I love it here and feel stronger for the the rest of you but we need to hold on to that distant and fading hope that they will, in time, reveal… They have a voice to us all.
We are the ones that have kept the platform alive by bringing people in and making them realise what they could do with more.
Stick with it guys. At the moment the community is worth more to me than a thousand faces
Bravo . One of the Commitments a Partner make is to continue to contribute to this Community . I see about 6 that contribute regularly out of I belive 250 . Two more specificaly . It would be a real compliment to the effors if the Contributors if @Facer_Official or @Facer-Staff made some comment now and again . Just to acknowlage that we Exsist .
I think that may not be the rule. There are some that never ever wrote here anything, or others that only have shown few designs and were not seen since.
I see the not has Been Deprecated . Also I thought is said " and continue to take an active part in the Community and Forums ". My Bad . But that happens often .
.
I’m sure they know that you exist and that your contributions are appreciated by all. In fact, many of the regulars here do such a good job that this community almost runs itself.
I think you’ll find that some of us have been here for a very long time and have received quite a few contribution badges Naturally there are ups and downs (life happens), but I agree that this community is amazing and Facer definitely knows and notices.
Hey everybody. Why do partners HAVE to contribute? It’s a nice to have, but it is not essential. I know that there are a handful of partners that make a great contribution to this forum & it is highly appreciated, but come on guys, we don’t HAVE to have them. There is more than enough talent/skill/experience with the people that contribute here regularly that aren’t partners. Just my 2 cents worth. We are the ones that keep this forum going. Just remember that. We also don’t need any acknowledgement from FACER (or anyone else) of our existence. We should be satisfied with what we learn & the feedback we receive from our followers. That is sufficient recognition for me. Thank you for the great work & contributions that have taught me so much.
Don’t quite agree- it’s a handful enthusiastic regulars that keep this place running + 2 or 3 partners. What if these handful of regulars didn’t actually respond and help? What then? There IS a requirement for partners to participate in the forum to ensure its survival - we shouldn’t have to depend on volunteers. I would go further - those partners that don’t contribute should lose their status. This forum as you say runs itself more or less but, it is Facer’s MAIN help provider and should have more input and respect from partners. We all know who the cavalry are and which partners DO participate.
Just to end with - this forum is amazing and in my opinion the best out there ,- i wouldn’t be able to make my watchfaces without it
Contributing to all components of Facer is just the professional thing to do whether it is a requirement or not. All of us use the resources, so it makes sense to return the favor by supporting the business whether we are Partners or not.
It should be a pre-condition to become a partner and their absence on this forum means no partner at all, of what?? They should publish statistics of their commitment here to this forum - they do keep statistics here don’t they -but I guess we won’t see that for a while.
Haha you can search for them too, I think you’ll be surprised about how much many partners have contributed over time Either way, I think the upcoming community manager position should be great for everyone here
I’d like to. As an active, and productive member of the community. If those areas are only for partners then they don’t count as part of the general community.
