As someone who has had years of experience vetting people and their work in various places, I think Facer does a pretty good job selecting partners and handling free and paid. They do not owe the applicants reasons for rejection or a progress report on the status of applications. An auto reply when an application has been received would be helpful to the applicant, though. It seems odd that applicants have not received that.
