I tend to create thise expression breakdown documents for myself now, just as because writing down what each part does solidifies in my head why I am putting each number where I do.
I can copy/paste/fiddle with numbers to make something behave but to move forwards I need to know why the number fudging works.
For me the best way is to try to document it in a way I think can be explained to someone else.

As far as thoes improvements, Facer has a lot of different things they are working on. I’m not 100% sure what their priority list is but I do know most of what was mentioned is at least on their radar.
