Building a custom Tool for Watchface Marks

Very cool - thanks for all the hard work you are putting into this!

I created these templates to aid in the alignment of Hours and/or Minute/Seconds. I keep the template as a separate (bottom) layer.

This can be achieved using the masking tool, however, if there is a better solution and it is feasible, I can implement it in the future.

Hey there everyone!

I’ve been polishing some details and I’m working to release the first version of this tool next week. It’s a first attempt that I hope to improve with your feedback.

Thanks all.

Useful I’m sure. I had to re-align some watch hands and drew temporary one pixel tall or one pixel high cross hairs. Think I’ll download this just in case.

Certainly going to try it out when you post it. I’ve got a very satisfying tool I finally ran across to compare it to.

Hey everyone! Hope you’re all doing well

I finally released the tool.

I put a small website where you can access it and download it

On the site you’ll find two tutorials, one for installation and another covering the basics to get started:
Tutorials

I also included the project itself in case anyone wants to contribute or take a look at how it’s built:
Open Source Tools

It’s still under development, so I’d really appreciate it if you let me know about any bugs, ideas, or features you’d like to see.

Thanks a lot for all the help up to this point. I hope you like it and find it useful!

Looks great! Shame there’s no support for Mac. Maybe see if Claude can rewrite it for web?

Hey @Rator, you can use it in Mac by following the second installation method. Let me know if you have any trouble, I will be glado to help.

oh ok, i’ll dig down into it and let you know, thanks!

What did you use to build your website?

Hi @taurogoti I did using Astro

You build it with modules or you program it.

So far no luck, tomorrow will try on another PC

Works for me on Windows 11. A new face created using it.

It is certainly better than what I used to use, which was a tool for making clock faces for use in schools.

I’m trying to figure out how to get 1-12 with all the text straight up.

Yeah, I was visiting here to ask the same thing.
